If by chance the A19 is stuffed after Hartlepool, which has occured over the last few weeks

Take this route. Come out as normal and follow the A179 UNTIL you come to the intersection for the A1086 and go through

Hart Station
Black Hall Rocks
Black Hall Colliery
Horden
Little Thorpe

Which should bring you back on above the closure
