On occasion, if Junction 1 is stuffed, come off at Junction 2 and go into Golders as highlighted, Great N Way, to the A406.
stay left when you see the Golders sign up Charter way, spin round right and across the A406 onto Finchley, you can take a sharp at the end into Golders, but it is advisable to go round the roundabout and come in that way.....can also work in reverse. (i.e if 1 is stuffed, don't go into Golders, but past and follow route out to come on at junction 2 or stay on till you come to 4 if 2..3 is stuffed)
